Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2025


1. Purpose

This policy outlines the conditions under which guests may receive a refund for bookings made directly with Summit Della Suite. It is designed to ensure fairness to both our guests and the business while maintaining our commitment to high service standards.


2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Accommodation bookings (suites, rooms, apartments)

  • Property hire and exclusive use bookings

  • Direct reservations via our website, telephone, or in person

Bookings made via third-party platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb) will follow the refund policy stated on those platforms.


3. General Principles

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to our Reservations Team.

  • All refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

  • Refunds are subject to any applicable bank or transaction fees.


4. Refund Conditions

4.1 Cancellations
  • Full Refund: Guests who cancel within 24 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund.

  • No Refund / Date Change Only: Cancellations made more than 24 hours after booking are non-refundable. In such cases, guests may request to change their booking date, subject to availability.

4.2 Early Departures
  • If a guest chooses to check out before the original departure date, unused nights are non-refundable.

4.3 Force Majeure
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics), we will offer a credit voucher valid for 12 months or a partial refund at our discretion.

4.4 Non-Refundable Rates
  • Bookings made under a non-refundable promotion or special rate are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.


5. Property Damage & Incidentals

If damage is caused to the property or contents during a guest’s stay, repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest directly. 


6. Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval. Actual posting time may vary depending on the guest’s bank or payment provider.


7. Disputes

Any disputes regarding this policy will be handled in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.
